Introduction
Loughborough University has an award winning wireless network using industry standard IEEE 802.11 (WiFi) technology. There are over 350 wireless "hotspots" around the University campus, with new ones presently being added every day. The wireless network provides convenient, secure access to the Internet and the University network from most academic and related buildings on campus.
