Terms of Reference
-
To allow customer-focussed discussion of Information Technology services, existing or proposed, provided by Computing Services.
-
To make realistic prioritised proposals to Computing Services, based upon user requirements, for the inception or modification of Information Technology projects and services.

To evaluate and provide written appraisals of Information Technology projects and services.

To comment upon the progress of Information Technology projects and services.
-
To comment upon the translation of Information Technology projects to full services.

To comment upon proposed Service Level Agreements developed by Computing Services.

To receive reports and comment on proposed IT projects within Faculties and Support Services.

To report to Resources & Planning Committee after each meeting.
Membership
-
2 representatives from each of the three Faculties (e.g. one member of academic staff serving on the Faculty IT Strategy & Policy Group, and the FITC or equivalent postholder).

1 member of the Academic Registry staff.

1 member of the Finance Office staff.

1 member of Corporate Information Services' staff.

3 representatives from the support services not otherwise represented.

Student representative appointed by Loughborough Students Union.

Director of Information Technology.

The Chair
The Chair is Professor Terry Kavanagh, a Dean, nominated by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor.
Frequency of Meetings
The group will meet three times each year.
Secretarial Support
To be provided by the Chair or Director of Information Technology.
