Initial Contacts

Service Interruptions due to faults

Details of any service interruption due to faults is circulated by the most appropriate means. Look at IT Services home page www.lboro.ac.uk/it/ to see if any News Items are posted in the News box. If so, click on the link to see the News Item. We will update the News Item as further information comes to light; if you have had the News Item web page open for a while you may wish to press Shft+F5 (force refresh) to see the latest updates.

You will find help about software packages from their Help menu (usually accessible by pressing F1). You will find help about Windows by selecting the Help and Support (Windows XP) option from the Start menu.

Anyone having problems which they suspect is caused by a virus (i.e. they are not using our standard McAfee virus scanner, or if they are infected and it has problems removing the software) may install the latest version of the Stinger software (unsupported by IT Services) from our HallNet pages at www.lboro.ac.uk/it/hallnet/stinger.html.
