This shows a Public Network, to which are attached Tenant's P.C.s, the Tenant's File Server, and a Router. The Router, in turn, is attached to the Internet.

Figure 2: More advanced layout with private and public networks connected by a firewall

This shows a Private Network, to which are attached Tenant's P.C.s, the Tenant's File Server, and the Tenant's Firewall. The Tenant's Firewall is, in turn, connected to a Public Network which makes a connection to a Router. The Router, in turn, is attached to the Internet.

Figure 3: More complex setup with a non-NATed web server

This shows a Private Network, to which are attached Tenant's P.C.s, the Tenant's File Server, and the Tenant's Firewall. The Tenant's Firewall is, in turn, connected to a Public Network, which makes a connection to the Tenant's non-NATed Web Server and a Router. The Router, in turn, is attached to the Internet.
