Using our Wireless Network (or our Wired Network)

This is the main source of information about Eduroam for academic visitors (staff and students) to Loughborough.

The concept behind Eduroam is simple: members of participating UK Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) can now authenticate at other Universities in order to gain access to services. The services offered to visiting staff and students will vary between different institutions but will usually include at least access to the SuperJANET network to allow the use of the World Wide Web. Visitors will often be able to access Eduroam facilities from their own laptops or PDAs using wireless networks and / or "public" network sockets. Some sites may also have specific workstations that can use Eduroam authentication.
