Staff Desktop XP

Support Charges

This applies to the Staff Desktop Service for Windows XP.

Departments are expected to ensure that they have access to a basic level of IT support (as defined here at www.lboro.ac.uk/it/desktop/reps-xp/requirements.html). Where departments or sections are unable to provide access to this level of support (often because a section is too small to require a full or part-time IT support person of its own), IT Services make the following charges:

• Internal departments / sections - £194 per P.C. per year.

• External customers - £341 per P.C. per year.
