Keyboard shortcuts for Windows Vista

Keyboard shortcuts can make it easier to interact with your computer because you don't need to use the mouse as often.

You can also move the pointer around the screen without the mouse by using the Mouse Keys. These enable the arrows on the numeric keypad on your keyboard to move the pointer around:

  1. Click Start then Control Panel.

  2. Click Ease of Access.

  3. Click Ease of Access Center.

  4. Click Make the keyboard easier to use.

  5. Select the Turn on Mouse Keys checkbox.

The Set up Mouse Keys option gives you further options, e.g. Turn on Mouse Keys with left ALT+left SHIFT+NUM LOCK.
