Mind Mapping with Mind Genius
We provide Mind Genius Mind Mapping software for those with dyslexia, on the Staff Desktop service and in all IT Services Computer Labs.
The best way to understand what it does and how to use it, is to run the program and from the Help menu select Tutorial.

This tutorial screen shown the Menus and Toolbars at the top. the Map Explorer pane on the left, the Notes Editor below it, and the Map Editor in the main part of the screen.
The map has a central "rectangle" with some text in it, and several other rectangles branching off. In fact, more items can branch off from these too.

This example map describes Mind Mapping itself. The central rectangle is Essay Topic. Branches from here extend to:

Essay title,
-
Additional materials,
-
Introduction,
-
Main body,
-
Summary,
-
Conclusion,
-
Bibliography.
Further branches extend from each of these.
Other diagram types are available.
The software can output your map in a variety of ways including Word, PowerPoint, and web pages (HTML).
